The Dress

I purchased this gown in late last year for our May 2018 wedding. Paid $2299.00. Sadly the dress did not fit closer to the date as I had grown in size since then....sigh...When I tried the gown on last week, the internal lining spilt around the hip area. Photo 4 shows the location of the lining split. This can be repaired, however it means the dress will be even smaller once repaired. Sadly I am unable to drop anymore weight in time for the wedding.

This is not a dress for pear shapes. If your hips circumference at the widest point is more than 94cm the dress would not fit. Ideally your hip circumference should be no more than 91 cm. this will allow for the lining to be repaired which will take an additional 1cm off either side from the original fit.

The dress has been altered in length. I am 163cm and my shoes at alteration were 11cm. Therefore you would need to be around my height or shorter/or wear shorter heels.

I have added cups to the dress. In the shop I felt the dress flattened my bust. My bust circumference is 88cm and my waist circumference is 66cm. You could be a little under on the bust and it wouldn't matter much. The waist you could be slightly over but not more than 1/2cm in my opinion.
