The Dress

I recently got married and had such a wonderful day in my Made with Love 'Frankie' wedding dress. It was super comfortable, easy to get in and out of, and I had no problem burning up the dance floor in it...! I'd now love for someone else to enjoy it, rather than it being stored in my wardrobe forever.

As you'll see from the photos, it's all ivory lace. It has pockets in the front (great for storing your handwritten vows...or tissues), ruching (to make your butt look fantastic), custom made sleeves and custom made belt (which can be removed if you prefer). I purchased the dress brand new from 'Savvy Brides' in Edgecliffe - so it's only ever been won once.

It'll easily fit a size 6-8(AU) bride. I'm normally a size 6 but I had no issues wearing this size 8 dress. it just meant that I had a plenty of room for wedding cake. I had the length taken up as I'm 158cm tall. I was wearing a pretty standard size heel.

Measurements:
Top of shoulder to waist-line: 360mm
Waist line to floor: 1100mm
Waist line to bottom of train: 1650mm

While I was on my honeymoon my mum paid $400 to have the dress very professionally dry-cleaned for me. It looks cleaner than when I bought it!

I had the front of the dress taken up as I'm 158cm tall. I wore pretty standard sized heels.

I paid a dressmaker to take some length out of the train so that she could make custom sleeves for me using lace from the dress. She used the leftover hem to make the edging of the sleeves.

The dressmaker also made a belt for me - using cream coloured pearls and beads. I think it really made the dress, but it can be removed if you'd prefer.
