The Dress
An asymmetrical, soft tulle ruched bodice (very flattering across the tummy!) with sweetheart neckline and corded lace over Chantilly lace. Ultra-feminine mermaid skirt featuring delicate scalloped hem lace. Enough train to feel you have one, but not so long that you can't move around easily. Covered buttons trailing down the center back zipper enclosure pull the lovely look together.
I tried on dresses like this in 5 different shops but fell in love with Iberia as it was so flattering. It has been professionally hand cleaned recently by Scobies and is in beautiful condition.
No alterations to the bodice. The hem was taken up slightly by the bridal shop. I am 5'7" and wore 6cm heel on hard floors (on carpet you will sink so need a slightly shorter dress!) Small, indiscreet matching button and loop added to the train so you can bustle it up later in the evening and the train still looks elegant.
