The Dress

After getting engaged I went through the lengthy process of having a wedding dress handmade for me (by a couture wedding dress designer overseas) but having received it, as much as it pains me (this being an understatement!), it just isn't 'the' dress for me - but I hope for the right bride will be their dream dress!

Please excuse the terrible photos - they were taken on my phone in my spare room! The dress is tight fitting with a low, wide V-neck and appliqué lace panel running vertically down the center of the dress, with matching appliqué lace detailing on the hem and train. It's new and has never been worn, bar to try it on. It's been beautifully hand sewn and is truly one of a kind! It's been made to my measurements (please feel free to email for specific measurements!), but I would say is sitting at a size four. The designer has left enough fabric though for it to be taken out, to sit at more of a size 4/6. For reference for the length, I'm approx 5"4.

One important thing to mention is that I would advise that it needs to be taken out at the back (below the zip), as it extremely, extremely tight on my hips and bum (taking into account I am no Kim K!). My dress maker has advised she has left additional fabric in order to do so, and that it will be very easy to do. Please do take this amendment into account if you are interested in purchasing!
