The Dress

I felt a million dollars in my vintage inspired lace wedding dress from Essence of Australia. This dress is utterly beautiful, with the most amazing intricate ivory lace design. The lace covers a lustre satin gown which is in a delicate 'Harvest' colour that really shows the delicate lace details to their best. The dress is very romantic with a modern twist and I had so many compliments from my husband and guests.

Designer details include a V neck, waist sash, court train, round keyhole back and zipper closure under fabric covered buttons. The lace is in Ivory and the satin gown is in Harvest. I have the sash to go with the gown, though chose not to wear it on the day. The bust is padded, so there is no need to wear a bra and is very supportive. There is also a bustle which was very useful when you want to dance the night away.

I had the dress taken up (I am 5ft 6 inches), and I wore 2.5 inch heels. The dress is nearer a size 10/11 as it was also taken in on the waist and hips. The dress has been professionally cleaned by a wedding dress specialist dry cleaners.
