The Dress
Fit and flare style bridal gown. Simple yet dramatic with its fitted bodice, low back and train. The Mikado fabric is truly gorgeous in ivory with the most luxurious sheen and has a nice sturdy feel. I love the detail of the tiny buttons running down the back/ bustle (but don’t worry there is a secret zip). I added straps but they can be removed to create a strapless neckline. It manages to be both minimalist and glamorous with the most flattering silhouette. I felt amazing in this dress and got so many compliments. It has lived one happy day with me and my partner and is now ready for its next adventure!
Alterations
Added straps (which can be easily removed by seamstress). Added a few darts to cinch in the waist to make slightly more fitted. Altered to reduce the volume of the skirt slightly, but is still nice and flared. Added bustle so train can be folded and attached to top of skirt at back for ease of joining the party after the ceremony.
