The Dress

This is such a beautiful dress!!
It is still in great condition and is so wonderful to wear, it made me feel like a princess.

It has such elegant lace detailing, and a very soft line to the front of the bodice with lace trailing over the shoulders and wonderful detailing to the fitted bodice. The lace detailing also has tiny sequins and there's some white sparkle to the sheer bits of the skirt too. The back is sheer skin colour with a smart line of silk covered buttons.

The skirt is many layers of tulle, making it very full, and the underskirt is champagne coloured so the lace really pops, it's quite a modern vibe with the subdued pink tones to the underskirt. It has a full length chapel train for the perfect aisle walk, and I have had bustle hooks put on the back so you can pin up the skirt when dancing (barely noticeable, more details below).

I loved this dress so much for my special day and it would be great for it to have a second life.

Alterations

It has been taken up slightly as it was too long for me, without shoes I'm 5'7 or 169cm, with my wedding shoes 175cm.

The shoulder straps were taken up slightly also, so the shoulder to waist is shorter. To put this in perspective my measurement from collar bone hollow to floor is 138cm without shoes.

The other addition is the 5 point bustle to the back, very well done, the outer skirt falls so you can still see the middle lace, and the under skirt has a separate bustle so it just looks like a very full skirt at the top of the back. But you can dance freely and not worry about the dress!
