The Dress
I felt like an absolute princess in this gown and it was unbelievably comfortable to wear. This lovely, and deceptively simple, pure white cap-sleeved gown in sheer silk is embroidered from shoulder to ankle with delicate beaded spring flowers, and a finely boned bodice strewn with pearls. The plunge V neckline adds a sensual edge, a dress for a modern fairy tale, but held me in very securely. It has been professionally dry cleaned and has no stains on the dress, but does have slight cosmetic wear around the internal waistband.
Alterations
I had the dress professionally altered by Pallas Couture recommended dress alterations, Emergency Button in Double Bay, to slightly alter the back design of the dress to fit my waist. I also had approximately 10cm removed from the base of the dress, which has been kept along with the original Pallas Couture dress bag.
