The Dress
This is a custom Alexandra Grecco dress where she combined the top of one dress and the bottom of another, and the embroidery of another (Azalea gown with Zinnia bodice and extension of embroidery like the Lumia dress). The result was absolutely stunning. Elegant and romantic, showing off some skin but in a tasteful way. I felt like a low-key goddess, I loved that the silhouette was modern and not over-the top but the details were immaculate. The embroidery caught the light gorgeously and shined and twinkled beautifully. It has been dry cleaned and put in a box for preservation, so it will be ready to be like-new for someone new!
Alterations
I had it altered to fit my body which has different sizes—the designer labelled it as a 10 on top and 12 on the bottom but in reality I am a 4/6 on top and 8/10 on the bottom in US sizes. I had it slightly altered to work with my shoes which were only 2.5 inches so we shortened it, and i had the bodice/waist taken in to fit more snugly. There's plenty of material and leeway for alterations on this dress.
