This is an off-the-shoulder dress but I worn it ON my shoulder. (The dress has a strap so it didn't fall out of place.)
To make it more modest, I sew on an applique to cover the chest a little more. (This can easily be removed.)
I wore the dress for about 90min for my wedding before I changed later in the reception.
(I can also throw in the veil. I paid about $230 for it. I'll sell it for $100.)
