The Dress

This is the Lydia dress from Paddington Brides (Bertossi Brides by Anne Bertossi). A stunning Italian silk petal jacquard which has a lovely crepe feeling, is very light and comfortable to wear, and the material doesn’t crush! The dress has pockets, making it very functional as you can use the pockets to lift the skirt up when navigating stairs or uneven grounds.

Other special features of the dress which enhances the bride’s figure and elegance include the sparkly belt, the train of buttons at the back, and the billowing circle cut skirt (which is very fun to twirl around in!).

The dress was made and tailored specifically for my height and figure. The dress was adapted upon my request to have a modern scoop neck line on the front and back of the dress, enhancing the dress’ classical look.

The dress, belt, a long Bertossi veil and a short Bertossi veil (to cover my face during the ceremony and also to replace the long veil during reception) totalled to $4100.00. I wore the dress to my wedding in October 2022. The dress was dry cleaned by Leon’s fine dry cleaning (who are highly recommended), returning the dress to perfect condition.

The selling price of dress, belt and 2 veils is $850.00.
