The Dress

I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and flattering wedding dress! The whole dress is made from a unique modern ivory lace over a beige/nude gown with additional ivory floral appliqué on both the front and back bodice of the gown. It also has a little bit of glitter that isn’t over-the-top, but definitely adds some sparkle in the right light. I loved the deep-V neck and super low back! It is pretty fitted around the hips which really made it look like I had some curves. I wore it with a beautiful rose gold and rhinestone bridal belt which I can also include! The dress was so comfortable, lightweight, and and easy to move in. The skirt is moderate length but I had a bustle added for the reception. I got so many compliments! Dry-cleaned after the wedding and still looks brand new.

Alterations

Very few alterations needed from the sample dress. Plain belt with bow that was originally on the dress was removed. Straps were shortened, length shortened, and skirt taken in slightly at the hips to create a more fitted silhouette around the hips. Bra pads and nude skirt slip were also inserted. Bustle added (but not visible when dress is not bustled).
