The Dress
My dress is Stella York - 'willow' design. It is a gorgeous ivory lace sheath style dress with flare from knee that flows down to a train at the back.
It has a sheer lace neckline and the entire dress has beautiful lace over an ivory silk dress.
It has a long train, with a bustle for dancing later in the day.
It was ordered as a size 18 to fit a larger bust and taken in around the hips. The alterations were mostly to ensure the bust would fit and extra lace was added to the back to balance out the low v shaped back.
Alterations
The dress has been taken in at the hips to approximately a size 14, however the seams can be taken out and the dress will be the original size 18 US
There had been quite a bit of extra lace added to the open back area to make sure the bra was not showing but it is still a nice deep back.
