The Dress

Classic vintage style wedding dress from the British Designer Alan Hannah. Martinque is a beautiful a-line strapless dress, with fully boned structured top half providing you with an envious hourglass figure. The fabric drapes from the bodice down the skirt and has a small train. This is a timeless elegant gown and is extremely flattering to wear. The top half fits like a corset and has a buttoned back detailing. This dress has an underlayer netting to provide volume to accentuate the shape of the skirt. There is a hook under the dress, which enables you to gather the trail up for the evening.

The dress is made from ivory silk and fits a size 8. No alterations have been made to this dress. This dress has been professionally dry cleaned and boxed with acid proof tissue to preseve the dress. It is in a very good and clean condition.

The measurements of the dress are as follows:-

Corset Top - 14.5 inches (from middle of corset to waist),
Underarm to waist - 11 inches,
Waist - 22 inches,
Skirt - 63 inches (waist to back) & 41 inches (waist to front).

I am 5 ft 4 inches and wore with 3 inch heels.

I also have shoes that I wore with the dress, as pictured, which were made by Versani. These were made in Italy and cost approximately $300. They are a UK size 4 (US 6.5). These have only been worn once and are in a very good/clean condition. These are available for £50.

This is a classic understated dress but simply stunning when worn. I feel guilty for leaving this boxed and I hope someone will appreciate this beautiful dress.
