The Dress

This dress! Kim.
I live in Winnipeg and picked it up from the Truvelle flagship store in Vancouver, BC. I had actually purchased the Nicolet last summer but rushed to cancel the order when I saw the Kim in the new 2018 collection. It was everything I was looking for in a dress; simple, yet so elegant, and a tiny bit sexy with the hidden slit.

The Kim was originally off white, which seemed very stark white so I had it made in a pearl (ivory) fabric. This was so perfect as it gave the dress a much warmer look.
I also added a double strap at the back to make the back a little more interesting. This also made the dress more comfortable to wear.
The dress was hemmed ever so slightly in the front, approximately .5 inch was taken off.
I am tall- 5'8 and wore 2 inch heels.

The Kim is a true beauty- one of Truvell's nicest dresses. It was so comfortable to wear all night, I didn't want to take it off when the night was over!

It has been professionally dry cleaned and is almost perfect, other than a few scuffs at the bottom which are only noticeable if you look very closely. I can send photos if required.
The dress is in the original Truvelle garment bag and has attached extra lace beads for the bodice.
