The dress falls beautifully with the weight of the beading. It feels very comfortable and a perfect length, I am 5ft 4 It fits perfectly, drapes beautifully and is elegantly classic. As the back drapes very low, be aware that a standard bra will be visible so you need to invest in something suitable.
The dress has a weight to it but isn't too heavy or cumbersome and is comfortable to sit or move about in. I love this dress and was considering dying it so I could use it again.
