The Dress

I wore this beautiful and luxurious Mikado wedding dress only for a few hours for an indoor ceremony in October 2023. It has been professionally dry-cleaned. I instantly fell in love with this dress the first time I tried it on, after trying on a dozen other styles in multiple bridal shops. Despite being very petite (5'2", ~113 lbs), this dress doesn't overwhelm me; its simple, elegant, and structured fit-and-flare design actually makes me look taller. This dress will be perfect for a petite bride who is looking for a timeless and modern look.

The dress was altered to suit my body shape and enhanced with a French bustle. The bust area was cinched slightly, and the hip area was adjusted by adding half to three-quarters of an inch to accommodate my pear-shaped figure (typically wearing size 2 on top and size 4 on the bottom in casual clothing; my bra size is 34B). The dress was tailored to just touch the floor when worn with my 3-inch wedding heels (I'm 5'2'). As you can see from the picture, the dress has detachable off-shoulder drape sleeves. I opted not to wear them on my wedding day, but I will include them when shipping the dress. The chiffon embroidered gloves and the wedding veil (from Made with Love) can be gifted for free with the purchase.
