The Dress

This Fara Sposa dress is a beautiful strapless mermaid shaped gown covered in delicate lace with an invisible zip back and integrated corset.

I bought the dress in a size 10 but had it taken in to a size 8 by a talented wedding dress seamstress in West London.

I had the seamstress add a bustle to the back for easy of movement later on in the night. There is also a handle at the side of the dress which you can hook over your wrist in the interim.

I am 5ft8 and wore 7.5cm/3 inch heels on the day.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned, stored in a smoke/pet-free home and is in overall very good condition. There were 3 tiny tears to the dress at the bottom at the back, which have been repaired by a seamstress and are impossible to spot.

Valued at £1250, I bought it (unworn) in a sale for £900. The price reflects the fact I'm looking for a quick sell and the small areas of wear and tear noted (and since repaired) above.
