The Dress

For sale: Elegant, flowing and very-pretty designer wedding dress with delicate lace detail. It is a strapless dress with sweetheart neckline in a delicate, pale ivory colour. It comes with a three-quarter-length veil attached to a comb, plus an additional petticoat. The dress is zip fastened at the back, so easy to get on and practical for all-day and evening wear. The zipper is concealed with fabric button detail. The bodice, although strapless, is comfortably and securely fitted. The train of the dress can easily be tied up using the integral ties to form a bustle for evening dancing. Both the design and cut made it easy and comfortable for my daughter to wear all day and all evening, including a ceilidh!

The dress was originally a size 12, but my daughter had the dress professionally fitted by the Surrey Brides shop where the dress was purchased. The top is currently fitted to roughly a size 10 . It could easily be let out again to fit a size 12, or refitted to a smaller size. My daughter is about 5'6", and had the length altered so she could wear the dress with flat shoes to be comfortable. The length could obviously be reduced with fitting.

The dress is in good, clean condition except for a couple of minor pulls on the outer fabric of the train. These are barely noticeable when the dress is being worn. It hasn't been dry-cleaned. The dress was £1200 new, so the £500 asking price reflects this.
