The Dress

This is a gorgeous, light, frothy Le Spose di Gio dress with a structured sweetheart bodice and full skirt. I fell in love with it at their shop in Ebury St because it's so floaty and feminine but also very simple and different. The fabric is a kind of crinkled texture which makes the whole thing feel summery, playful and unique - it's beautiful without being too girly, OTT or heavy.

New it was £4400 which was over my budget, so I found a sample in America and had it shipped over. It cost £1900 and showed no signs of it being a sample - it's in gorgeous condition. I paid another £280 to have it altered and unfortunately they took it in too much! It was so close to my wedding that there wasn't time to let it back out and I wore an emergency back up dress... So this is being sold unworn!!

It comes with a belt as in the promotional pictures. This is separate, and you could wear it without, or with an alternative belt or sash.

The dress was a size 10 originally, and was taken in to a size 8. I'd love to think of it actually being worn on someone's wedding day and hope it finds a good home!
