The Dress

You are bidding on the beautiful Claire Pettibone ‘Abbey’ wedding dress/gown RRP £3000, worn just the once on my wedding day and brought as new.
I love this dress it's very unique and was just what i was looking for for my wedding i will be sad to see it go but with a new baby on the way we need all the pennies we can get. Be nice for someone to get as much enjoyment from it as i did from it.
It has beautiful tiny little rose buds detail to the sleeves and back wear it fastens and a tapestry band to the waist. Beautiful lace to the top half and bottom half of the sleeves gives it a nice vintage feel.
The skirt is silk with a sheer net over the top and a small train to the back. It fastens by zip at the back and is really comfortable to wear, its not boned so you can still breathe eat and dance which is what i wanted.
You can wear this dress with a bra which is very useful i wore a nude wonderbra ultimate plunge with straps, my seamstress attached some tiny prestuds to attach it to my bra so you could leave these in or take them out they would come out easy but they cant be seen anyway. I would also sell the bra if anyone wanted it, only worn once as well.
I am a uk size 10/12, and 5 ft 11, i wore this with flat sandals and was the perfect height for me, so anyone smaller could either wear heels or have it taken up in length.

The dress hasn't been altered in size at all.

The length is 154cm and the waist band is 76.4cm
The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and in perfect condition apart from 3 tiny little holes to the very bottom edge of the dress to one side these are in the sheer top layer that floats on top. They can't be seen from anyone standing you would have to get very close to notice them. If you needed the dress taking up then they would disappear anyway as they are right on the edge.
