The Dress

Claire Pettibone Devotion couture wedding dress bought from UK stockist Blackburn bridal in Blackheath. It is from her Earthy Paradise Collection. Paid £3600.

Claire Pettibone is a LA designer, this dress was made to order and took six months to arrive.

Ivory dress with ivory and champagne embroidery. Floral design embroidery over ivory layer. Lace vine leaf straps on both shoulders. Backless with lace vine leaf detail across. Mermaid style with small trail. Very flattering style.

I am a size 8 on top and 10/12 on the bottom, this dress was very flattering to my shape. There is currently a c cup bra sewn in that could be easily removed.

There are 3 small imperfections on the bottom of the dress where it has been stepped on. These may be able to be fixed, I'm not sure, although they are fairly unnoticeable as the dress is patterned. This is a very unique dress, by a top designer.

My theme was vintage English country and this floral design fitted in beautifully with that, the flowers on the cake and decorations.
