The Dress
From Monique Lhuillier's Spring 2020 collection, "Spring" is a stunning lace-embroidered gown. I bought this gown from the Monique Lhuillier store in NYC. It is incredibly comfortable and light with the perfect combination of romantic and sexy. I wore this gown to my October 2019 wedding and felt gorgeous. It accentuates the chest, back, and waist beautifully.
Alterations were done at the ML store in NYC (I am 5’5” and wore 2.5 inch heels). When the train is bustled, you can see all the delicate lace details of the dress (I have a video on how to do the bustle). There was a small tear in the underskirt lining of the dress that has since been repaired.
The dress retails for approx. $5,500 + tax + alterations. It was not professionally dry-cleaned, but it was cleaned and includes the original ML garment bag.
