Beautifully elegant 'Valma' dress by Parisian designer Laure de Sagazan, bought from The Mews in Notting Hill for my wedding in December 2017.
It was the absolute PERFECT dress! So elegant and understated but incredibly comfortable to wear. As somebody who hates tight clothing and hated the idea of anything overly 'bridey', this was simply perfect. It has a lovely vintage feel with a beautiful drop waste, pearl detailing on the sleeves & back and a silk ribbon inside at the back to tie it up for the evening (a life saver if you want to do lots of dancing as I did!)
It's a size 8 and has had small adjustments to take in the shoulders slightly. The length was taken up and I'm 5"5 and wore it with 8cm heels (Rachel Simpson Ginger Gold - so stunning!)
The dress comes in a Mews Bridal cover and was dry cleaned immediately after the wedding - it's spotless.
