The Dress
This piece used a empire-waist chiffon gown with a court train as the base, and added several custom alterations for a May 2018 wedding. It is one-of-a-kind and highly flattering to a size 14-16 body.
Custom additions to this chiffon dress include: hand-pieced and appliquéd lace hem on the front and back, pintuck detailing on the bodice, hand-beaded bodice detail in white gold, and embroidery on sheer bodice panels and sleeves in cream.
This dress has a flattering empire waist, cap sleeves, and fully lined bodice. It's also very comfortable - the chiffon is smooth and feels almost like a nightgown, even though you're dressed like a princess.
Alterations
Hand-pieced and appliquéd lace hem on the front and back, pintuck detailing on the bodice, hand-beaded bodice detail in white gold, and embroidery on sheer bodice panels and sleeves in cream. The hand application of the lace was performed by a master couturier, and is gorgeous.
