The Dress

This is a stunning Kate Sherford wedding dress in ivory with a lace overlay originally priced at £1,995. Gorgeous sweetheart neckline, built-in corset straps with buttoned back and cathedral train.

I fell in love with this in the Ellis Sanderson bridal shop in Oxford a few months ago. It is a sample in immaculate condition and has never been worn. It's a size 14 on the label but fits me perfectly and I am a size 12, approx. 5'8 with a 36 inch bust so it would probably fit most people with a few alterations. I had planned to remove the cross-over organza overlay from the front (easy job) and add the Kayleigh sash from Sassi Holford with the vintage floral corsage - the cream is an identical match and really enhances the dress.

I am having two wedding ceremonies this year and have bought a Castigliano for my Italian blessing. I wanted something different for my religious ceremony in the UK and thought this was it. However, on reflection, I think it is too similar to my Castigliano so have bought a sheath dress instead and am selling this one to pay for it!
