The Dress

The bold Avril Gown by Rue De Seine - it is the most stunning bridal gown and I received so many compliments! It is sad to see it go but I know it needs to be in the spotlight again.

Worn at a summer wedding and it was light, breezy and perfect. The most comfortable dress to wear and it photographs so beautifully.

Materials:
Shell – Nylon Mesh with Cotton Cornelli lace
Lining – Silk/Spandex in Nude Colour
Comes with dancing loop.

Dress is a Size 14 but would fit a 12-16. Due to the material it is a forgiving dress and hugs in all the right places.

Standard Rue de Seine measurements for size 14 are:
- Bust 100cm
- Under Bust 86cm
- Waist 80cm
- Hip high – 97cm
- Hip low – 109cm
- Bicep – 34cm

Professionally dry cleaned with no markings or flaws. Happy to post at buyers expense.

Alterations: The dress itself has had minimal alterations. The sleeves were trimmed approximately 2cm as they were too long. As a 185cm tall lady, I didn’t need to take any length off the front!

I made alterations to the slip which are not at all visible when the dress is on. I took the train off the slip and added it to the back (raising the zipper). This meant that I could wear a bra with the dress and not have any of the bra showing – perfect for a size 14D lady! If you aren’t a D, no problems – the slip isn’t visible anyway!

The slip straps were brought up but not cut so they can be altered back to any length.
