The Dress

This is an Anna Campbell 'Carolina' dress that was made to measure and due to the style, will fit various shapes and sizes. It was handmade in Melbourne, Australia and the intricate beading is something that makes this dress extremely eye-catching. There are many details on this dress that make it different to the current style, including the scalloped beading on the shoulders. It is silk lined, with chiffon layered skirt and 1 m train (depending on your height). I am 157 cm and wore a small heal. It has an elastic waist skirt and the beaded bodice is attached, making it very easy to step into and put on. I wore a bra; however, this is not necessary as it is quite supported. It has a button belt, rather than the typical bow that Anna Campbell dresses normally have. The bottom of the chiffon has a couple of slight tears in it. One is 10 cm and the other is 12 cm. I’m sure these could be easily fixed though. The tears are at the front of the dress. Due to the way the chiffon falls though you wouldn't even know that they were there. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned.

I am the second owner of this stunning dress and that is why there are a mixture of photos from her wedding day and also from my wedding day.

The dress is designed for a size 10. However, the skirt on the dress is very stretchy and would fit most sizes 8-12 and possibly 14. The part of the dress that is restricted to a size 10 is the button belt. I didn't end up using the button belt on the day of my wedding as it felt a little too tight (I was a size 12 at the time). As the button belt felt a bit tight, I had tucked the button belt inside the dress and had used the thick ribbon in the style of the traditional Anna Campbell dresses (which covered up the button belt).
