The Dress

A beautiful, ivory, silk Suzanne Neville dress which is classic yet unique. Suzanne Neville is one of the best designers for making extremely flattering corsets that pull you in in all the right places. The ruching detail round the corset is very flattering so makes your waist look much slimmer than it is, and it felt very comfortable all day whether sitting or dancing. The skirt is A-line with an attractive pleat detail on the hip and a slight train at the back which can be bustled up for dancing etc. The dress is a size 12 but the lace up back means it will fit a variety of sizes.

Originally bought for £2700 and to fit size 12 and 5'8 approx (I'm 5'5 plus 3 inch heels.)A stunning Suzanne Neville Fontaines in Ivory silk taffeta with traditional lace up back. This dress was bought directly from Suzanne's Guildford store.

I chose the lace up back not only for the tradition but for the way it made me feel. Suzanne is renowned for her corsetry and structure in her dresses and this makes you feel truly incredible!

The lace up back, detachable net pad (attaches to the underside of the skirt with velcro and offers optional fullness to the skirt), laces for hooking up your train, hems, outer fabric are all in perfect condition with a few light marks on the bottom edge of the train, so are not noticeable when worn! Worn once and then professionally dry cleaned by Terrington Burchett.
