Velda Dress

This dress is a timeless and simple design from well known Spanish Designer Pronovias. This dress is part of their 2016 collection and is made from crepe with added lace to the bodice though French rebrodé lace appliqués. The long trail offers a subtle statement when left out and can easily be tied up either an over bustle or a french bustle. During the reception, I wore a french bustle.

I wore this dress in October 2016 at my NSW south coast wedding. The classiness of the dress perfectly matched the southern highlands setting.

To add uniqueness to this dress I had French lace appliqués added as removable side sleeves. I wore these for the ceremony and the reception and unclipped these later in the night during the dancing. See photos for close up photo on how these are clipped on and off.

I also had a French fine tulle skirt custom made to go over the dress. This tulle skirt provided an elegant flow to the dress during the ceremony and added an additional element during the photos. I removed this for the reception.

Both the lace appliqué sleeves and tulle skirt can easily not be worn if not desired.

* Alterations: Boning has been added to the bodice to ensure the dress stayed firmly in place.
* Condition: Very good condition. No holes and professionally dry-cleaned.
