The Dress

From Made with Love: Charlie has a soft alluring feel of feminine lace that holds and clings to all the right womanly curves. She holds her bodice with a plunging neckline that is held together with a sheer embrace and follows down with the stunning low back line framed with lace.

From Me: The dress fit like a glove, while still allowing me to play with my flower girl before the wedding and dance and sit comfortably through the reception. Despite the summer temperatures, the silk lining kept me cool and comfortable. I received so many compliments on my dress and it photographed beautifully.

It has no visible stains, but we took outside photos and the leaves stuck to the train of the dress, which caused the lace to fray ever-so-slightly.

The dress was originally a size 12 from Made With Love, but I had it altered down to fit my sizes (measured professionally - bust: 35.5", waist: 30", hips: 38"). I'm 5'7" and wore 2" heels, so the dress was hemmed and the train was shortened accordingly. I also had the straps shortened and breast cups sewn in which could easily be removed (I'm a US size 34B). I also had buttons sewn in so the dress could be bustled. Made With Love did a 6cm higher neckline to make for a more plunging "V".
