The Dress

The Jamie dress is a slim fitting lace and crepe dress with an illusion neckline and back, its from the Victoria Jane Collection by Ronald Joyce.

I bought it in July 2017 for £1100 and wore it for my wedding in September. It was such a joy to wear and really comfortable.

It is a label 12 but more of a high street 10 as the bodice is very slim fitting. It has a well built in bra in the bodice and then from your hips it falls down to a beautiful circle train. The skirt also folds up into a bustle for when you are dancing. I really loved the sheer lace detail across the back too.

I've had it professionally cleaned since the wedding and it has come up immaculate. The only slight detail is one missing button where the lace meets the skirt at the back but its hardly noticeable and I'm sure a seamstress could fix it very easily if it bothered you.

It was hemmed for me to wear with 3 inch heels; I am 5 foot 8 without heels. The other adjustments were to bring it in very slightly at the waist (a few mms).
