The Dress

When I saw this dress it was love at first sight, it was my dream dress and I felt like a film star on the day. Every time I open up the dress to have a sneak peak I fall in love with it all over again. I would love to sell the dress onto someone so they can get the same joy and happiness it brought me.

The Lottie dress has a sweetheart neckline with spaghetti straps, panelled beaded bodice and sequin bias skirt and finished with a belt. It was a joy to wear and the photos turned out beautifully.

The dress is a size 8 but I have a small waist which was taken in to a size 6. I am 5ft 8inches and wore 2-inch heels on the day and the dress still touched the floor.

Bought brand new in London and worn once at my own Wedding in November 2017.

I had the dress dry cleaned and it has come back perfect. A few beads fell off during the day and the dry cleaners have sewed these back on. I had the back lower to a V-shape to add more detail from behind. I also added alternative straps as the dress was very heavy it made marks on the skin with the original straps (very pale and sensitive skin). The original straps are still attached so you can choose between the two.
