The Dress

Truvelle completely won my heart when I discovered their wedding dresses. I was looking for a dress that was more bohemian, unconventional, effortless and modern and when I found that among the other typical dresses I knew it was for me.

I chose the Alexandra style and custom-designed the bottom to feel more like my style.
The top features a sexy yet simple plunging neckline, showcasing amazing hand beading and lace and double straps, and the most striking back.
This dress was custom made in Off-White and Ivory.
Also the skirt was made into a straight skirt (like their Mary dress) instead of the waterfall skirt.
In addition, I also had them create a laid-back version of a "corset" in back, so I could be free and instead of pinching my waist it hung very delicately and could be tied tighter or looser (life saver).

This dress is pretty one of a kind. Truvelle is special that way, allowing you to mix up the ways you can wear and customize their dresses. It was incredibly comfortable, super stylish, ethereal, sexy and extremely light. I felt like a queen, and it even fit in with my outdoor wedding. It is a special piece and I would love for more people to feel the same way in it.

I wore the dress without a bra (used boob glue), but you could easily add cups. The gown has been dry-cleaned and looks brand new.

This dress was shortened someone who is 5'3" and wore 3.25" heels (was slightly longer).
I also had the straps shortened but you could easily have them made longer.
I also had the back changed (mentioned above) so it wasn't so tight along my waist line with a laced up feature. It really helped me not be so conscious about my back when dancing and taking pictures.
