Unforgettable Dress "Dentelle" by Jenny Packham / similar to Aspen and Odessa

When Kate Middleton walked down the carpet in a teal version of this dress for the opening ceremony for the London Olympics, I fell in LOVE with this gown and always remembered it. Later I discovered the dress was made in different versions over the last few years (Odessa and Aspen) and it was available in a soft, creamy ivory. The more I learned about the dress, I could not pass it up.

This dress was PERFECT for an outdoor, summer wedding. Perfect for dancing under the stars and sending off sky lanterns at the reception. It was worn from 9 pm to 1 am, then retired.

Size is 14 UK / 10 US • Location is London, U.K.

Favorite Details • THE BACK, with lace and tiny covered buttons running all the way down • Floor-length skirt, light and flowing, a dream for dancing • Dainty lace-capped sleeves with delicate rhinestones for the right amount of night-time sparkle • Hand-beading at the middle • Light, extremely breathable fabric - so comfortable and easy to wear (changing into this felt so good, especially after wearing a HOT, stiff, taffeta gown for the ceremony earlier in the day!)

Minor Alterations • Dress was hemmed • Soft bra cups were sewn in • Modesty panel was added, made from the chiffon fabric from the skirt. The modesty panel and bra cups can easily be removed. Since this dress is a larger size, the dress can easily be taken-in to fit a smaller figure.
