The Dress

This is a Justin Alexander regal satin mermaid gown. The colour is alabaster (similar to ivory). Purchased this dress from Vision in White in Sydney. There are crystal and satin buttons that cover the back zipper and all the way to the bottom of the chapel length train.

My body measurements:
•Standard Australian Size 8 (with wider hips/thighs)
•Height 158cm/ 5"1
•Shoe heel height 8.5cm/ 3.3 inch
•Bust 83cm/ 32.5 inch (with 10A strapless slightly padded bra on, as I wore this under my dress)
•Waist 71.5 cm/ 28 inch
•Hip (where hip bone is) 84.5 cm/ 33 inch
•Bottom Hip/upper thigh area (widest part hip, across bottom) 93cm/ 36.5 inch

Professional alterations made to the dress:
•A Beaded belt was stitched onto the dress
•2 layers of tulle removed under the dress
•Size A cups added to the bust, which can be removed by a tailor. I wore a 10A slightly padded beige bra under my dress (for extra security as recommended by my tailor!)

Condition of dress:
•Dress in excellent condition with very slight imperfection side of left knee(see picture with fingers)

Further notes:
My wedding was in April 2017, and I had it professionally dry cleaned. I love my dress and how classy I felt and looked in it. I found there were hardly satin dresses around in stores!
