The Dress
I purchased this dress new. This dress is absolutely gorgeous and dramatic, I wish I could wear it again. It has a very comfortable ruched bodice and zipper closure. The bodice is very figure flattering. The layered tulle skirt draped beautifully. The cups feature a bra-like hook enclosure in the back for extra support. I did not need to wear a separate bra (my cup size 36B). I had so many complements on this dress! I hope it will have a chance to shine again rather than sit in my closet!
Only minimal alterations were needed. It was only let out 1/2 inch on lower thigh, and a two button bustle was put in. The length and bodice were not altered at all. I am 5ft9 and wore flats, so the length could easily be altered for a shorter bride. It has been professionally dry cleaned.
