The Dress
DESIGNER:
Understated, elegant and youthful; Haze gown has a low neckline, fitted and boned bodice, with tuck details at front. A gypsy inspired silk embroidered full skirt, and beaded belt at the waist. Low back ties with rouleau straps, and full train.
Shell – Silk base with rayon embroidery, silk bodice. Rayon and bead belt
Lining – Silk/Spandex skirt lining
BRIDE:
I knew this dress was the one the second I tried it on! What I loved the most about it was that it felt like a combination of classic meets bohemian. I was looking for something non traditional yet timeless. I fell in love with the beautiful silk bodice combined with the cotton eyelet skirt. The best part was the stunning beaded belt that tied it together. It was the perfect dress for my wedding which took place at my parents heritage home in Vancouver.
Size 6 US/CDN and 10 Australia/NZ
Alterations included shortening the straps, adjusting bodice and hemming the length to for my 3" heels - bustle was added for the train.
Bust 34", Lower Bust 30", Waist 28", Upper Hips 31" Lower Hips 33"
I hemmed it for 3" heels (I'm 5'6 and wore 3" inch heels)
I wore the Dosa heels by Grace Loves Lace
