The Dress

An incredibly timeless lace gown!! This dress is classic ivory, form fitted, features a low back with dainty straps, and has a perfectly proportionate small train off the back.

I absolutely adored this dress and I hope someone else can love it as much as I did on my wedding day. I accessorized with a cathedral veil and classic jewelry for my church wedding - but it could also be dressed down for a casual outdoor ceremony or destination wedding.

The dress was custom made by a Canadian designer, purchased from a bridal boutique in Saskatchewan, altered slightly by a local designer, worn for my big day, then dry cleaned the next morning! It's in mint condition.

As for size - I am 5'9 and typically wear a size 6 dress/skirt. And a small/medium top. I am a C36 chest - and wore this dress with a sticky bra. You could easily go without a bra - as the dress holds nice and tight at the top and can be adjusted with the ties at the back.

Alterations: I had the bottom hemmed for my height (5'9) and taken in just a bit through my bum and thighs.

I also had a bustle added in - just one small button behind the calves. There's a loop on the train that tucks up so you can dance! So cute!
