This dress is from the 2014 collection by the widely coveted and renowned, Vogue and Style.com praised, Parisian wedding dress designer Laure de Sagazan.
The Segur dress is one of the most sought after styles of her collections, and only available to brides who are able to allow a long lead time and multiple visits to the Paris atelier.
The dress is hand made to measure in Paris. The material is silk throughout. The bottom has three light layers. The simple, bohemian yet elegant dress features Calais lace details on shoulders and belt, which is tied across the back and then around the waist.
Made for body measurements as follows: Shoulders 38 in, Chest 35 in, Waist 26 in, Hips 38 in, Height 5.8 ft. The dress can of course be altered smaller / shorter.
The dress was worn in a small, intimate, peaceful, outdoor Sonoma, California wedding for a total length of 12 hours. The weather was sunny but breezy, and no sweating happened while the dress was worn. No damage occurred on the dress either, except the very bottom of the hem got slightly dusty from the ground, but the dress has since been professionally cleaned and is in immaculate, perfect, condition, no darkening on the bottom of the hem. Absolutely beautiful silk fabric and lace. Creamy white in color, not a bright white.
New retailed for $4000. Purchased from the original owner and tried on in my home, but the style doesn't suit me. Comes in the original dress bag.
