  • The Story

This gorgeous dress is made of beautiful intricately beaded lace with a silk lining. The back of the dress has button and lace detailing which creates a stunning heart-shaped keyhole. This feature was what made me fall in love with the dress. It has a classically elegant look whilst the beautiful shape gives a modern feel.

Designed by Annasul Y (AY2497B), the dress was bought from The White Closet bridal boutique in Didsbury, Manchester. It was in almost perfect condition when bought despite being a sample dress (they take care of their dresses!) The dress was professionally dry cleaned before alterations were made.

The dress feels so special to wear and the tiny beads sparkle delicately in the sunlight. It is extremely comfortable to wear as it is unstructured. It is very easy to get in and out of as it has a hidden zip (the buttons are for aesthetics only). I felt amazing in the dress and received the loveliest compliments.

The dress was professionally dry cleaned immediately following our wedding. It has been kept in a smoke-free home in a dress bag. It also comes with a dress box.

You're very welcome to come and try on the dress. Please get in touch if you have any questions at all.

Alterations were made by Tusneem at Boutique Alterations (recommended by the White Closet): - the train was reduced into a puddle - length shortened to fit me at 5'8 with 2.5inch heels - full alterations made from size 12 to size 10 - removable cups lightly sown in (I'm 32C/34B) so the dress will still fit a larger bust with the cups removed

There is a small section where the train edge has been pulled away at the back (see pic). The lace is intact and it could be easily repaired by a seamstress (or if the dress is being shortened the train edge would need to be removed and reattached to the new length anyway). This is reflected in the low price I am selling the dress for.
