Designed by Elbeth Gillis, the South African bridal couture designer, this slim-fitting wedding gown is ivory crepe satin and speckle tulle, finished with lavish guipure lace embroidery highlighting the bodice, sleeves and plunging neckline and back.
On the day of the wedding I was UK size 8-10 so it was comfortably fitting, as pictures show, but not tight and unbearable to wear on a rather hot summer. There were minimal alterations done to the dress incl. addition of removable/replaceable bra cups and taking a little in it at the top shoulder area and sides.
Since then, the gown has been dry cleaned and boxed, and has been in the box since October 2016. I must add that despite several attempts to remove the staining/soiling on the gown, slight staining/soiling still remains on the underside hem area (further processing could cause damage to the fibre content of the gown). There is also a very slight make up (bronzer/foundation) discolouration on the top front right side of the chest. I am happy to send pictures of these taken on mobile recently.
I have finally brought myself to selling it and hopefully making one other bride as happy as I was wearing it.

Elbeth Gillis' wedding gowns are priced between £1,500 - £3,200 in the UK.
