Corset, very heavily boned and covered with buttons on the back bodice of the gown.
The fabric is Heavy Twill, fully lined 100% polyester satin lining.
Minimal professional alterations by the Karen Willis Holmes seamstress, only length (I'm 165cm) and bust enhancers making the dress a C cup, which can be removed.
