The Dress
After trying on lots of puffy meringue dresses, I was so relieved to find this one: elegant cascading tulle, a flattering sweetheart neckline, and just the right touch of glamour courtesy of the vintage Swarovski brooch sparkling on the hip.
I'm size 12, but a hidden inner corset means it could fit size 10-14 and gives you great security, despite the dress being strapless - I was so comfortable all day. I'm 5'6 but I wore 3-inch heels on the day.
The dress was dry cleaned the day after our wedding and is in great condition. I paid £1,500 for it. I think £500 is a fair price for second-hand, but will consider offers.
I'm based in South Manchester. You're welcome to come and try it on - if you do, I recommend you bring a camera and an honest friend, both indispensable when choosing your wedding dress.
