The Dress

This is a classical, Bohemian-style dress that I wore for a farm wedding. It is perfectly suited for an outdoor spring/summer wedding. It is actually comprised of two dresses as seen in the photos, of satin and lace. The underlay is two layers of satin which is fitted to the bodice. The lace overlay is loosely fitted on top. While fitted underneath, I found it very comfortable; no shapewear was needed. There is a padded bust but room for bra cups to be worn if desired. While it was worn with a flower crown and flats, it is sophisticated enough to be dressed up with heels and a veil as well. It was purchased originally from Astra Bridal Outlet.

Alterations were made on this dress to be better fitted. A hook was inserted at the top of the zipper in the back to give better closure. Also, an addition of lace was put onto the underarm areas. As there was no specific sizing attached on the dress when bought, it is assumed to be a size 8-10, my normal size.
