Stunning ivory crepe Suzanne Neville 'Mayfair' dress. Worn once for my wedding in Summer 2017. Bought for £2,395 in March 2017 (not including alterations).
Suzanne is known for creating amazing silhouettes, the integrated corset gives a beautiful shape and the dress feels so secure when you are wearing it. I drank and ate all day and still felt good! The material is pure crepe silk, i wore the dress in mid summer and it was not too hot at all. The dress can be bustled as seen in the pictures, with a simple ribbon tie underneath (which is also blue, for your something blue!).
This price includes underskirt (see alterations for details), and I can also include the cathedral veil which cost me £175.
I added a delicate belt for the evening, a lot of brides do add a belt to this dress for the day, but I felt it spoke for itself especially with the veil. I had so many compliments on the dress and am still getting them!
It is breaking my heart to sell it, but if another bride can feel as incredible as I did, I will be happy :)
Price is negotiable.
Couture designer sizes run big, so this was a size 12 dress, although I am a size 8 in my normal clothes. The dress was altered to fit the following measurements:
Height - 5ft 3 (I wore 4 1/2 inch heels, so it would fit a taller lady wearing smaller heels, mine were quite high for a bride!)
Bust - 32.5 inches (this has give in it, i had to wear some inserts) Underbust - 29.5 inches Waist - 27 inches High hip - 32 inches Low hip - 36.5 inches
The seams have some give in to be altered further, they can be either let out an inch or so, or brought in a few inches.
NOTE - This dress has not yet been dry cleaned, it costs £200 and I want to see what interest there is for the dress before I pay that, i have been advised by the specialist cleaners that it should come up as NEW. Currently the marks are just dirt around the hem from dancing! I have still factored the cleaning cost into the price, it WILLl be cleaned before you receive it, if it doesn't come up as promised by the cleaners, then I will drop the price accordingly.
The underskirt was altered to be made into a 'half skirt' - the original underskirt bunched up and spoiled the smooth look of the dress, so the seamstress attached the bottom section via poppers to the section of the dress just below my knees to keep the shape of the dress but without all of the material. This was actually really useful as i was able to just un pop it in the evening and step out of the underskirt!
I am happy to offer try on and home collection, I can also post but please note this will incur extra cost due to the size and value of the dress. Happy to negotiate on this :)
