Made by Tadashi Shoji for BHDLN, this is a beautiful, elegant, yet sexy dress. Extremely comfortable to wear - a dress that you wear, rather than it wearing you. BHDLN sell the most lovely dresses, a little different from the standard formal wedding gown, and ideal for a more relaxed wedding.
Description from the website - Lace in full bloom is fashioned into an understated column gown. Its magic lies in the details: a flattering v-neckline and crisscross back. Easily packable, it's the perfect gown for a destination wedding.
Ivory lace over Tadashi Shoji's signature jersey lining in Natural, making for a very comfortable and easy to wear dress.
I love this dress but have decided to purchase an alternative one, as, because the back is so low, I cannot wear a bra, and being an older bride, with a full bust (34E), can't get away with going braless. I did consider having cups sewn in but have been advised that they won't give me the support I require. I am a standard UK size 12 but this style runs large and the US 6 fits me like a glove. With regard to length, I am 5'10" and, without shoes, it just skims the floor (as on the model in the 2nd photo).
Measurements to fit as follows - Bust 36.5", Natural Waist 29.8", Low hip 41", Length from top of shoulder to hem (front) 60.8", Length from centre back to hem 54.1"
The dress has only been tried on, still has labels attached and will ship in the original BHLDN dustcover.
Original price shown excludes shipping and customs duties which totalled £124.62 extra.
