The Dress

This was my absolute dream dress and I will treasure my photos and memories of it forever. Classic and yet contemporary Novello is perfect for any shape. Novello will hide any hippy issues you may have, whilst cinching in the waist to show off your beautiful décolletage. The internal corset works wonders too!

Novello is made from silk zibiline an unusual heavy weight fabric, which due to its weave creates a low luster look, ideal if you are wanting to avoid a shiny satin. The zibiline also holds it’s shape well without being too heavy, so will still look crisp and elegant after you have danced the night away to those 80’s classics we all secretly love!

My dress was made by Suzanne Neville at the beginning of 2017 in size 11 (based on Suzanne's measurements). I normally wear size 8 and I had some small alterations done. It was extremely comfortable to wear all day.

I am 5"7' (170cm) and I wore 3 inch heels on my wedding day.

The dress was dry cleaned immediately following my wedding and it cleaned very well. As with all pre-loved dresses there are some small marks under the bottom of the dress which are not visible when the dress is on.

The dress is currently being treasured at my parents' house in Lancashire.

I really hope this dress is able to bring somebody else the happiness I had when wearing it. It will be very hard to say goodbye but I have my memories to hold on to.

Changes made:
Some small alterations made to the bodice. The internal corset was lowered slightly at the back to avoid it being on show. Cups were added so it could be worn without a bra.
Some slight marks under the bottom of the dress. They cannot be seen when on.
Ribbon was added to tie the dress up at the back for the evening party.
