The Dress

A beautiful Hayley Paige wedding dress. I bought this gown in October 2016 with it being delivered in April 2016. The dress is the absolutely perfect fit for the modern romantic bride.

I had three sets of alterations to make the dress perfect for my day including most to my waist and bust. I am 5.5- 5.6 inches tall and on the day wore 2 inch heels making the dress appropriate for someone 5.8 or shorter. The dress is a US 14. In trousers I am a size 14 (U.K) , more on the 12 side than 16, a medium top and a 36B bust.

We unfortunately had classic British weather on the day and it did rain quite a lot. My dress unfortunately got damaged on the bottom from mud although most came out in the dry cleaning process. In addition to this, there is a small tear in the under lining towards the bottom but you cannot tell at all when on and it is very fixable at about an inch in width. For someone 5.7 or shorter, you could the bottom hemmed and you there would be no signs or pre-owned.
