The Dress
EXCLUSIVE AT NET-A-PORTER.COM. Michael Lo Sordo's 'Alexandra' gown is an elegant choice for special events or low-key brides - whether you're planning a summer wedding in the country or a secluded beach ceremony. Suspended from slim straps, this plunging piece is cut from swathes of lustrous silk crepe de chine to skim the figure before falling to a floor-sweeping hem. We like how the leg-baring front slit creates fluid movement with each step.
I had this dress taken in, which was as if the tailor remade the dress , it had to be cut right open and the pattern essentially made smaller. As it is cut in the bias this was an extremely difficult job and cost me $1600.00 AUD on top of the $2000.00 AUD it was to purchase. Happy to supply receipts for this. I had the open front closed and made into a halter style dress. This is the same dress Margot Robbie wore to the I,Tonya premiere except in the thicker Crepe de chine version.
Was worn for one hour during my ceremony, and I then changed into my reception gown straight after, professionally dry cleaned and packaged so it doesn’t turn yellow etc.
